1. Cookies and related storage

Cookies are small items a service can store and read in your browser. sessionStorage normally lasts for a tab’s session, while localStorage and IndexedDB can remain for longer. These technologies can support functions or measurement, depending on their actual use.

2. Items stored by this site

jsg-consent in localStorage records your acceptance or refusal and the time of your choice for 180 days. This lets the site respect the decision without asking on every page. The banner can return after expiry, deletion or when the saved choice cannot be read.

chunk_reload_at in sessionStorage allows a controlled reload when a site update requires it. It ends with the tab session and is not a visitor-tracking tool.

The 180-day preference period is the operator’s site policy. It is not a claim that Singapore law requires every analytics consent to expire after 180 days.

3. Optional analytics cookies

After Accept all, Google Analytics may set _ga and _ga_<ID>. Microsoft Clarity, if enabled, may set _clck and _clsk and use CLID and MUID on Microsoft domains. Depending on the service and configuration, Google cookies can last up to two years; _clck, CLID and MUID up to one year; and _clsk up to one day.

Cookie lifetimes do not extend the site’s saved-choice period. Analytics do not run in administration. See the Privacy Policy for the information and purposes involved.

4. Staff authentication

Firebase Authentication can use IndexedDB or localStorage to maintain an authorised staff session. An administration login email may be stored locally. These functions do not create accounts for public visitors.

5. Other page services and external links

Google Fonts: Google receives technical information necessary to supply the requested fonts, such as IP address and browser details.

YouTube: thumbnails can be loaded from i.ytimg.com. The youtube-nocookie.com player loads when you choose to play a video; Google’s own terms then apply.

External links: WhatsApp, sharing buttons, official pages and Skills Assessment Australia, Build AI CV, Talent Tabloid, PractiseNow, Interview Training and Seasonal Jobs Australia lead to services with separate policies. A link does not send a message or publish a share until you use the relevant function.

6. Accept, decline or change your choice

The banner offers Accept all and Reject all. Optional analytics remain disabled before acceptance, and declining does not block the public site.

Use Cookie settings in the footer to reopen the choice. When consent is withdrawn, the page reloads to stop the tools and removes accessible analytics cookies on this site’s domain. Use your browser controls for cookies on third-party domains.

This preference concerns analytics. It does not replace a separate agreement or consent required for another use or disclosure of application information.

7. Browser controls

You can delete or block site data in browser settings. If storage of the choice is blocked, the banner may return. Private browsing removes information according to the browser’s own rules. Google also provides a Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

You can choose not to play a YouTube video. If external fonts are unavailable, the site uses available device fonts.
