Privacy Policy

Last updated: 31 October 2026

This policy explains how Red Migration FZC, the operator of JobsAbroad Singapore (jobsabroad.sg), handles information when you browse the site or contact the team. The operator is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. A Singapore audience or domain does not mean that every activity, recipient or server is in Singapore. Applicable data protection obligations depend on the activity and circumstances.

1. The essentials

  • You can read jobs and guides without creating a visitor account.
  • You choose what to send by email, WhatsApp, telephone or post.
  • Google Analytics and, if enabled, Microsoft Clarity run only after you accept optional analytics.
  • You can decline analytics and still use the public site.
  • Your application may be handled outside Singapore, including by the UAE operator and the employer for your chosen role.
  • Contact the team to ask about your information, correct it or request its removal, subject to applicable requirements.

2. Who handles your information

Red Migration FZC operates this service and decides how information is used for the purposes described here.

Email: jobs@jobsabroad.sg
Telephone and WhatsApp: +971 50 283 2394
Address: 108, 6th Street, Al Hamriya, Bur Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Use these details or the contact page for a privacy enquiry. This is the operator’s contact point; it is not a claim that the operator has an office or an appointed representative in Singapore.

3. Information you choose to send

Email applications

A vacancy’s application button leads to the contact page. The email link opens your email application, with job details where supplied. The website does not send your message for you: the team receives it when you send it to jobs@jobsabroad.sg.

An application may include your name, contact details, English CV, work history, referees and relevant qualification evidence. Share only what is necessary. Do not include an NRIC or FIN copy, passport copy, medical information or police certificate in an initial enquiry unless there is a specific, explained need. Visa-authority documents do not all need to be sent to the recruitment team.

WhatsApp

When you message us, we can see your number, profile name, messages and attachments, including any photographs or voice notes you send. Following the WhatsApp channel does not automatically start a private conversation. WhatsApp and Meta also apply their own privacy terms.

Telephone and post

We handle information you choose to provide during a call or in correspondence. The contact page has no enquiry form collecting your information.

4. Technical records

Google Cloud records request information such as IP address, browser and device information, the requested page and time. Technical request logs are retained for 30 days. The server also holds short-lived request counters in memory to limit overload and abuse.

These records support operation, troubleshooting and security. Searching or filtering jobs through the public website does not by itself create a CV or applicant file in the public content database.

5. Optional analytics

Google Analytics 4 and, if enabled, Microsoft Clarity help us understand which pages people use. They remain disabled until you choose Accept all in the banner. Declining does not block jobs or guides. You can reopen the choice through Cookie settings in the footer.

After acceptance, information may include pages visited, clicks, scrolling, browser, device and country. Clarity can produce heatmaps and session replays, with typed field content masked. Microsoft may also use information for advertising as described in its own privacy statement.

We do not send your CV, received messages, name or email address to these tools. Site search terms may be sent to Google Analytics: do not enter personal information in the search box. Google Analytics advertising features are disabled in this site’s configuration, and analytics do not run in the administration area.

Read the Google privacy policy, Microsoft Privacy Statement and our Cookie Policy. Accepting analytics does not authorise unrelated marketing or the sharing of your CV with additional employers.

6. Other services used by the site

The site stores your analytics choice and a technical value used to manage a controlled reload after an update. Google Fonts supplies typefaces. Video sections may load YouTube thumbnails, while the youtube-nocookie.com player loads when you choose to play a video.

Firebase Authentication is used by authorised staff accessing administration. It does not create a public visitor account. These services may receive technical information necessary to provide their functions.

7. Why we use information

  • To answer an enquiry through the channel you chose.
  • To compare your experience and evidence with the role you selected.
  • To forward a relevant application to that employer and arrange interviews or follow-up requests.
  • To operate, secure and troubleshoot the service.
  • To measure public website use within your analytics choice.
  • To meet applicable legal obligations.

We do not use application documents for advertising or profiling. The public website does not make hiring decisions solely by an automated process; the employer decides whom to recruit.

9. Who may receive information

  • Authorised team members handling the enquiry or application.
  • The employer for the selected vacancy, generally in Australia or New Zealand.
  • Authorised professional advisers where you request their service and disclosure is necessary. At the visa stage, we work with Australian registered migration agents and New Zealand licensed immigration advisers.
  • Service providers, including Google Cloud, the email provider, WhatsApp and Meta.
  • Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, if enabled, within your analytics choice.
  • Competent authorities when disclosure is legally required.

The public content database stores published jobs, articles and videos; it is not an archive of CVs emailed by visitors. Employers and independent professionals may have their own responsibilities and privacy notices.

10. Where information may be processed

The site’s Google Cloud Run server and Cloud Firestore database use the configured Google Cloud region Singapore. The operator works in the United Arab Emirates, and relevant employers may be in Australia or New Zealand. Information you send can therefore be accessed or disclosed outside Singapore.

Google, Microsoft, Meta, email and authentication providers may use global infrastructure, including in the United States. A Singapore hosting region does not mean that all processing remains in Singapore.

Where an applicable law places conditions on an overseas disclosure, those conditions must be addressed for that disclosure. We do not claim that every country has identical protection or that a cookie choice supplies every necessary authorisation. Contact us for the recipients, countries and arrangements relevant to your enquiry or application.

11. How long information is kept

Messages and attachments are retained for as long as needed to handle the enquiry, application and relevant follow-up, considering the recruitment outcome, any ongoing relationship and legal or rights-protection requirements. There is no single retention period for every case and no general policy of keeping applications forever.

Ask for the period or criteria relevant to your case, or request removal. When information is no longer needed for a business or legal purpose, it should be deleted or disposed of appropriately. Technical logs expire after 30 days; browser storage periods are described in the Cookie Policy.

12. Protecting information

The site uses HTTPS, authorised staff access, database access controls and request limits. No internet service can promise risk-free transmission. Check the recipient and purpose before sharing sensitive documents, and avoid sending identity numbers or records that are unnecessary for the current stage.

13. Access, corrections and privacy enquiries

Write to jobs@jobsabroad.sg with your request and enough detail to identify the relevant correspondence. You can ask what information we hold, request access or correction, ask for deletion, or raise a concern about its use. We may need proportionate identity checks before disclosing records; do not send a complete identity document in advance unless needed.

Applicable law determines the scope, exceptions and timing of formal rights. Where Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act applies, relevant obligations can include access, correction, consent withdrawal, protection, retention and overseas transfers, subject to its conditions and exceptions. It does not create an unrestricted right to demand every record’s deletion in every case.

We will explain any information we cannot provide or remove and the reason. You may also contact the Personal Data Protection Commission about matters within its remit, or another competent authority where relevant. This policy does not claim that every activity of the UAE operator is automatically subject to Singapore law.

14. Adult jobseekers

The service is intended for jobseekers aged 18 or over. If you believe a child has sent personal information, contact us so that the team can review the circumstances and remove information that is not needed.

15. Other websites

Links to public authorities, social media and resources such as Skills Assessment Australia, Build AI CV, Talent Tabloid, PractiseNow, Interview Training and Seasonal Jobs Australia lead to separate services. Read their terms and privacy information before sharing your information with them.

16. Policy updates

We may update this policy as the service, providers or applicable requirements change. The date above identifies this version. Material changes requiring additional information or consent will follow the relevant process.
