Preparing imported cars for compliance inspection is a key part of this Automotive Mechanic position in Auckland, New Zealand. The vehicle compliance centre handles inspections, including WOF, alongside servicing and repairs for a full range of vehicles. Employment is permanent and full-time, Monday to Friday, at $30 - $35 per hour.

Key Responsibilities
- Dismantle imported cars with care in preparation for compliance inspections.
- Perform routine servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs across different vehicles.
- Collect vehicles and parts from suppliers and assist workshop colleagues with their tasks.
- Maintain repair-time timesheets and enter invoices and WOF inspection records into the computer system.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Have at least three years of proven automotive car mechanic experience.
- Hold New Zealand citizenship or residency and a New Zealand driver licence.
- Follow safety protocols rigorously.
- Be proactive and organised, managing multiple tasks while meeting timelines.
- Communicate effectively; computer knowledge is an advantage.
- Provide references.
