Turning technical drawings into well-coordinated joinery projects is the focus of this Joinery Detailer vacancy in Queenstown, New Zealand. The premium bespoke joinery business has supplied all forms of joinery for more than 30 years and is filling a position following a retirement.
This permanent full-time role has a 40-44 hour working week. You will interpret project documents, resolve issues and coordinate with the people involved in delivery. As an Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV) employer, the business can provide sponsorship support for the right international candidates to enter permanent employment in New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities
- Interpret technical drawings and supporting documents, using them to plan and manage projects for timely delivery.
- Resolve issues throughout projects and coordinate with builders, suppliers and sub-contractors.
- Communicate with customers, architects and designers while keeping the management team informed.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Be trade qualified with a minimum of kitchen cabinetry, or have three years' proven joinery associated experience.
- Understand Microvellum (or similar) woodworking software.
- Combine a strong work ethic with excellent time management and the ability to plan and problem solve.
- Communicate effectively with customers, architects and designers.
