A major banking modernisation programme needs Senior Network Engineers to take critical network designs through implementation and operational handover. These long-term contract engagements in Sydney support large-scale migration phases, combining firewall deployment, traffic distribution and controlled changes to infrastructure.
The hiring IT consultancy has delivered ICT services since 2003 across government, finance, telecommunications and enterprise sectors. Several positions are available. Visa sponsorship and existing visa takeover opportunities are available for onshore candidates based in Sydney who hold a valid work visa; the roles are strictly onsite.

Key Responsibilities
- Implement complex network constructs using Cisco ASA and ACI, converting high-level designs into specific firewall configurations.
- Carry out passive and canary deployments and check that rule sets operate correctly.
- Configure and manage F5 GTM and LTM traffic distribution appliances, integrating F5 to meet high availability and disaster recovery requirements.
- Develop and execute rigorous change control and rollback procedures.
- Track performance following deployment and maintain the documentation needed for handover.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Bring strong practical experience in Cisco ASA, Cisco ACI and APIC environments, backed by proven enterprise firewall policy deployment and troubleshooting work.
- Demonstrate expertise configuring and supporting F5 GTM and LTM appliances.
- Have a solid understanding of capacity planning for networks and performance monitoring.
- CCNP / CCIE or equivalent industry certifications are highly regarded.
- You must be based in Sydney and hold a valid work visa; these roles are strictly onsite.
