Keeping container unloading compliant is a central responsibility in this Auckland Warehouse Person position. The work combines physical handling of goods with oversight of devanning, accurate inspection records and careful application of MPI procedures.
You will coordinate with warehouse colleagues to meet processing deadlines, identify concerns and maintain safe working practices throughout unloading. A current AP/MPI Certification and practical container or warehouse experience are needed for this long-term opportunity in New Zealand. Relevant overseas candidates may be considered for sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily devanning and unloading, maintaining MPI compliance throughout container processing.
- Apply MPI procedures correctly and complete inspection records, MPI documentation and other required paperwork accurately.
- Unload goods and assist with their handling and movement.
- Coordinate with warehouse and container teams to keep processing within operational deadlines.
- Identify and report operational, safety and compliance concerns.
- Observe workplace health and safety procedures at all times and maintain accurate operational records.
- Keep the workplace organised and productive, assisting with other warehouse tasks when operations require.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Have current, valid AP/MPI Certification and practical familiarity with MPI procedures and requirements.
- Bring previous experience in warehousing, container handling or devanning.
- Be physically fit for regular manual lifting and comfortable with hands-on operational work.
- Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality, with a dependable approach to work.
- Work efficiently with colleagues and understand operational deadlines and workplace timeframes.
- Carry out instructions and compliance procedures accurately while maintaining strict health and safety standards.
- Be available for early morning starts and full working days.
