Fresh produce transport is the core of these permanent full-time MC Truck Driver openings in South Australia. A major grower and packer needs several experienced, motivated drivers to move carrots, onions and potatoes between growing and packing sites. Its produce supplies supermarket chains, independent retailers and export markets.
Listed under Adelaide, SA, the work is based at a regional South Australian site, and applicants must be willing to move there to live and work. You will report directly to the Transport Manager and contribute to varied operations within the transport team. The employer is approved to sponsor and is willing to consider suitably qualified candidates who require a work visa.

Key Responsibilities
- Move produce between growing and packing sites, operating, maintaining and cleaning the truck.
- Complete thorough inspections before and after trips, report faults and finish all required checks and reporting.
- Examine loads and straps before every trip for secure restraint in accordance with National Heavy Vehicle Standards.
- Record produce carried, delivered and returned accurately, keeping logs and other records under company procedures.
- Observe safety guidelines and every applicable workplace health and safety policy and procedure.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Hold a current unrestricted MC licence (essential) and a High Risk Work Licence (essential).
- Two years of prior truck driving experience, together with experience and ability operating a manual road ranger transmission.
- Be willing to undertake a broad range of hands-on duties and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
- Be flexible enough to work a 7-day roster with different start times.
- Apply close attention to detail when completing paperwork accurately.
- Know heavy vehicle laws and regulations, including load restraint, and understand basic mechanics and maintenance.
- Experience carrying fresh produce or using tautliners and tippers is highly regarded.
