Visa sponsorship

Trade · Christchurch, New Zealand · Full-Time · $25 - $38/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored

From learning floor preparation to taking charge of a complete installation, this Christchurch business has openings at different stages of the trade. Experienced and senior installers, juniors, existing apprentices and people seeking an apprenticeship can apply. More than one strong applicant may be appointed for residential and light commercial work around Christchurch.

These permanent full-time positions provide a minimum of 37.5 hours per week, typically 40–42 hours per week, mainly Monday to Friday with occasional additional hours. Seniors lead jobs from arrival to completion and support another installer or a small crew. Trainees receive supervision and training, with duties suited to their ability.

AEWV applicants are welcome, including those needing employer sponsorship support for an Accredited Employer Work Visa application. Employment depends on obtaining appropriate New Zealand work rights.

Your English CV should distinguish flooring you can install independently from tasks you are still learning. Add any crew leadership experience and build a clear flooring trade CV with Build AI CV.
