Building trusting relationships with children and families is a central part of these Childcare Worker positions in Cairns, QLD, Australia. Two centres are recruiting 12 workers on a full-time basis to support children aged 0-6 years. The team needs enthusiastic educators who can help deliver a quality curriculum in a safe, warm and welcoming setting.
Work includes educational documentation aligned with the EYLF, NQF and NQS, communication with parents and collaboration with fellow educators. The company holds Government Business Sponsorship Approval for qualified overseas workers, and the occupation appears on the Government's approved list. This support depends on the relevant visa type and conditions, a successful ACECQA skills assessment, English test scores and a successful trial period.

Key Responsibilities
- Make the learning environment safe, enjoyable and welcoming while building warm, respectful relationships with children and families.
- Help implement a quality educational curriculum and complete documentation consistent with the EYLF, NQF and NQS.
- Communicate with parents and families, developing rapport and a strong home-school partnership.
- Establish positive working relationships with other early childhood educators and sustain effective teamwork.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Be currently studying towards or hold a Certificate III, or hold a Diploma in Early Childhood.
- Have a love and passion for working with children aged 0-6 years, together with enthusiasm and a strong work ethic.
- Communicate excellently in writing and verbally, and be computer literate for electronic programming and portfolios.
- Hold a current Queensland Blue Card and understand regulatory requirements under the National Regulations and National Quality Standards.
- Have First Aid qualifications and Anaphylaxis and Asthma training, if successful.
- Bring an open-minded, innovative approach to the work.
