Keeping trucks and semi-trailers safe and running efficiently is the purpose of these two permanent, full-time Diesel Mechanic / Trailer Mechanic positions in Adelaide, SA. A logistics business is expanding its workshop team and needs experienced, reliable mechanics who take pride in their repairs. The annual salary is $80,000 - $85,000.
Work spans fault diagnosis, preventative servicing, trailer components and NHVR compliance checks. Qualified mechanics in Australia or overseas who meet the relevant visa requirements are welcome to apply, with 482 visa sponsorship available for the right, eligible candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, service and repair heavy diesel trucks and semi-trailers, including scheduled and preventative work.
- Find and rectify faults in mechanical, electrical, braking and suspension systems.
- Repair trailer components such as landing legs, wheel bearings, axles and air brake systems.
- Inspect vehicles for safety and ensure compliance with NHVR requirements.
- Produce maintenance records and job reports, delivering efficient work without compromising workmanship.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Hold a trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic or equivalent, with experience on heavy vehicles and trailers.
- Bring strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills, together with air brake system and trailer maintenance experience.
- Be able to work independently as well as within a team.
- An HC/MC driver's licence is an advantage.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
