Electrical faults can interrupt an entire production process. In this Kalgoorlie Electrical Technician role, your work will combine diagnosis and timely repairs with preventative maintenance that helps industrial equipment remain dependable. Taking ownership of maintenance tasks and maintaining strong safety awareness are central to the position.
You will work with maintenance and production colleagues, identify recurring reliability issues and contribute practical, cost-effective improvements. Candidates requiring sponsorship may be considered, subject to qualification, experience and visa eligibility.

Key Responsibilities
- Inspect electrical faults, establish their causes and repair electrical systems and industrial plant equipment.
- Complete preventative maintenance programmes and respond to corrective maintenance needs.
- Identify reliability improvements that reduce equipment downtime and production interruptions.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance personnel on efficient, cost-effective solutions and continuous improvement.
- Follow all safety, health and environmental procedures throughout maintenance work.
Requirements & Eligibility
- A current Australian Electrical Licence is essential.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in industrial, manufacturing, processing, mining or related environments is required.
- Bring a strong record in electrical troubleshooting and fault-finding, alongside practical industrial maintenance experience.
- Maintain high safety awareness and work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Communicate strongly and collaborate well with the team; relevant qualifications and employment history must be verifiable.
- Instrumentation experience will be an advantage; SAP knowledge will be an advantage.
