From resuscitation and acute trauma to paediatric and mental health presentations, this Emergency Department Registered Nurse position covers a broad clinical caseload in Canberra, ACT. A busy emergency service has permanent full-time or part-time openings, with flexible rostering that includes rotating night shifts.
You will work alongside a close-knit multidisciplinary team and provide care across general emergency presentations as well as more acute cases. The role calls for previous emergency department experience, sound clinical judgement and the ability to remain composed under pressure. Visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver care for patients needing resuscitation or treatment for acute trauma.
- Nurse patients with paediatric, mental health and general emergency presentations.

Requirements & Eligibility
- Hold current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and have previous emergency department experience.
- Triage experience or ED qualifications, including a Graduate Certificate in Emergency Nursing, are highly regarded.
- Have current ALS/BLS certification or be willing to obtain it.
- Bring strong clinical judgement, composure when under pressure and a team-first approach.
- Be available for rotating shifts that include nights.
