Key Responsibilities
- Under RN supervision, assess patients, plan nursing care and carry out the agreed care.
- Administer medication and observe patients' treatment responses, while helping coordinate and evaluate their care.
- Participate in health education and health promotion.
- Give direct care, including assistance with personal hygiene, and assist RNs during clinical procedures and patient assessments.
- Keep clinical records accurate.
- Follow Work Health and Safety legislation and infection control standards, reporting incidents and hazards promptly.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Hold current AHPRA registration and a relevant nursing qualification for an Enrolled Nurse.
- Bring experience in community nursing and home care, with a minimum one year's full-time relevant experience.
- Have a current National Criminal History Check and a current Working with Children Check.
- Hold a current Manual Handling Certificate and an Infection Control certificate.
- Possess a valid driver's licence and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
- Keep COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations current.
