Auckland salon opportunities span hairdressing, barbering and beauty therapy, with each professional matched to work that fits their demonstrated skills. Established teams are seeking experienced Hairdressers, Barbers, Beauty Therapists and other specialists who can substantiate their qualifications, practical capability and employment background.
Your particular expertise might be cutting, advanced colour, men's grooming or beauty treatments. Across these services, attentive consultations, professional presentation and consistent hygiene matter alongside technical ability. Sponsorship is available for eligible overseas professionals.

Key Responsibilities
- Consult clients about their preferences, recommend appropriate services and provide hairdressing, barbering or beauty work within your specialism.
- Perform men's and women's cuts and styling, including blow-dries and hair-ups.
- Carry out root and global colouring, foils, highlights, lowlights, balayage, ombré, toning and colour correction.
- Where qualified, provide keratin, nanoplasty, Hair Botox and other smoothing treatments, along with straightening, perming and other chemical services.
- Provide barbering and men's grooming where applicable, plus threading, waxing, facials and other beauty treatments within your expertise.
- Deliver eyebrow and eyelash services, including extensions and tinting where qualified.
- Recommend professional products and home-care routines suited to each client.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and workplace health and safety standards while creating a welcoming, professional experience and lasting client relationships.
- Maintain professional personal presentation, cooperate with colleagues in a busy salon and keep technical knowledge and professional skills current.
Requirements & Eligibility
- A minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience is preferred.
- Have a relevant industry qualification and/or demonstrable professional salon experience, with evidence of qualifications and experience available when required.
- Demonstrate technical ability for the position sought and genuine hands-on industry experience using modern hairdressing, barbering and/or beauty techniques.
- Bring strong communication, client consultation and customer service skills.
- Be dependable, professional and well presented, able to work independently and contribute to a team.
- Show a strong commitment to quality, hygiene and professional standards, and enthusiasm for a long-term hair and beauty career.
- Have current New Zealand work rights or eligibility to obtain an appropriate work visa.
