Hair & Beauty

Hair and beauty work varies with the salon, services and customers. Australian and New Zealand vacancies may ask for a specific practical specialism, an established range of treatments or experience managing appointments and a team. Read the services and responsibilities in each advert before deciding whether it fits your background.

If you are applying from Singapore, explain your training and the services you actually perform. Describe consultation, hygiene, product use and customer care, together with any supervisory duties. A portfolio can help demonstrate suitable work where you have permission to share the images; do not include private customer information. Keep qualification records and employment references available to support the CV.

Check local training or operating requirements where they apply, and do not assume that every certificate establishes an overseas equivalent. Confirm hours, base pay, commission arrangements and whether tools or products are provided. Each role has its own work-right and sponsorship conditions. Eligible applicants of any nationality may apply when they meet those advertised requirements.
