Key Responsibilities
- Provide consistently professional barbering, including men’s haircuts, skin fades, taper fades, beard trimming, styling and grooming.
- Consult clients about their preferences, recommend suitable styles and create a welcoming experience that encourages repeat custom.
- Prepare and clean tools, equipment and work areas, observing hygiene, health and safety rules and maintaining professional presentation.
- Cooperate with fellow barbers and support the wider team.
- Participate in training and coaching, applying new techniques and relevant trends in daily services.
- Work towards agreed performance and service targets and contribute ideas to improve the client experience.
- Develop leadership and accept greater responsibility when opportunities arise.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Have a minimum 3 years of professional barbering experience and demonstrable hands-on work in a commercial barbering setting.
- Provide genuine, verifiable barbering experience, supported by an employment history that substantiates your background.
- Demonstrate strong technical skills in men’s haircuts, fades, styling and beard grooming, with a good understanding of professional barbering standards and client service.
- Bring good communication and interpersonal skills, professional presentation and close attention to detail.
- Be positive, committed to teamwork, reliable and responsible in your work.
- Be willing to continue training and developing skills, adapting to varied client preferences and current barbering trends.
