Construction

Construction vacancies can involve residential projects, commercial buildings, civil works or specialist site trades. The duties, equipment and level of supervision matter more than a familiar title. Use this page to compare current roles in Australia and New Zealand with the work you have actually performed in Singapore or elsewhere.

Make your application concrete: describe project types, drawings, materials, site responsibilities and the safety procedures you followed. If you have supervised a team, explain its size and your own responsibilities without taking credit for work you did not perform. Relevant training records and detailed employer references help a recruiter understand the experience behind your CV.

A Singapore construction certificate or safety course does not automatically replace training, licensing or registration required at the destination. Check the requirements of the particular role and location, including any existing work-right condition. Confirm pay, hours, travel between sites and sponsorship terms in writing. Qualified applicants of any nationality can consider roles whose stated conditions they meet.
