From the structural frame to the final fit-out, this full-time Carpenter position in Sydney calls for care at every stage of residential construction. Projects include premium homes, renovations and new builds, with work extending from timber installation to detailed finishing.
You will organise your assigned site tasks, interpret drawings and coordinate with builders, supervisors and fellow tradespeople. Practical judgement matters when resolving everyday site problems, as does keeping tools ready and work areas safe. Sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver professional residential carpentry across new builds and renovation projects, including frames and structural timber installation.
- Complete detailed finishing and fit-out work to the required standard.
- Interpret plans and dimensions, then measure, cut and install materials precisely.
- Manage the tasks and site areas allocated to you, maintaining accurate workmanship.
- Coordinate activities with builders, supervisors and other trades, resolving routine carpentry problems as they arise.
- Maintain the serviceable condition of tools and equipment.
- Apply workplace health and safety procedures while keeping the work area orderly, clean and safe.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Demonstrated experience working professionally as a Carpenter, supported by a relevant trade qualification or equivalent practical experience.
- Verifiable residential carpentry experience and a clear employment record of relevant trade work.
- Supporting employment or qualification evidence must be available for your application.
- Hold a current White Card and a valid driver's licence.
- Have your own reliable transport and standard carpentry tools.
- Bring strong practical understanding of residential construction, with the ability to read plans and follow technical instructions.
- Maintain consistent care over detail and work quality, including when working independently with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrate dependable attendance and professional work habits, together with effective communication and teamwork.
