Based in Perth, the work extends across Western Australia on commercial projects involving Tier 1 and Tier 2 builders. The hiring business has an established history in Australian floor coverings.
Your reporting line is to the Site Supervisor. You will fit the coverings within your specialism, planning each installation alongside the builder's crew and fellow trades. Success involves meeting the programme safely, limiting defects and leaving a professional finish. Visa sponsorship is available for suitably qualified overseas installers.

Key Responsibilities
- Install your specialist coverings: sheet vinyl, LVT and other resilient coverings with welding and coving, or carpet and carpet tiles.
- Grind, patch, prime and level subfloors; carry out moisture and flatness tests before installation and record the findings.
- Use drawings and finishes schedules to measure and set out the work accurately.
- Coordinate with the builder's site team and other trades to maintain the programme.
- Inspect, store and protect on-site materials, keeping waste down.
- Maintain timesheets and daily reports, together with quality checklists and photographic records.
- Comply with site safety rules, inductions and safe work method statements.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Have at least 3 years of commercial flooring experience gained in Australia or overseas, with skills in at least one trade: subfloor preparation, carpet installation or vinyl installation.
- A floor covering trade qualification such as a Certificate III in Flooring Technology, or equivalent overseas qualification or experience, is preferred, not required.
- Hold a WA White Card or be able to obtain one before starting.
- Hold a driver's licence valid in Australia.
- Bring strong attention to detail, reliability and good on-site communication in English.
