Project coordination and careful finishing come together in this permanent, full-time Painter & Decorator Team Leader role in Perth, WA. You will manage people and projects across multiple sites, reporting to the Painting Manager and helping the crew maintain an extremely high standard of work.
The Western Australian painting business has over 25 years of residential and commercial experience. Its work emphasises specialty finishes, wallcoverings, timely delivery and strong customer relationships. Commercial construction painting and decorating experience is ideally suited to the role. TSS482 visa sponsorship may be available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage painting projects and team members across multiple sites, working alongside the crew and keeping them motivated.
- Report directly to the Painting Manager and resolve problems independently or with the manager to achieve positive outcomes.
- Maintain safe working conditions and comply with OSH policies.
- Apply company procedures and induction manuals throughout the work.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Be a Trade Certified Painter; you must have completed an apprenticeship.
- Show proven experience in a leading hand or 2IC role and the ability to manage projects and team members.
- Bring strong communication and organisational skills, with close attention to detail for quality control.
- Be able to resolve problems or work with the Painting Manager to achieve a positive outcome.
- Read and understand project drawings, including floor plans and elevations.
- Hold a manual driver's license and White card.
- Subcontractors and ABN holders will not be considered.
- An EWP and/or Working at Heights ticket is desirable.
- First Aid is desirable; experience in airless spraying is also desirable.
- Have a current National Criminal History Check.
