Key Responsibilities
- Read project drawings, specifications and site instructions, applying accurate measurements and sound construction methods.
- Construct, assemble and install formwork to project requirements, delivering consistently high-quality carpentry.
- Undertake general carpentry with professional workmanship and operate tools, machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Coordinate work with site supervisors and construction crews to achieve the required project results.
- Resolve practical site problems and adapt the work to different construction environments and project needs.
- Observe workplace safety standards and site procedures throughout each task.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Have demonstrated experience as a Formwork Carpenter or skilled Construction Carpenter, supported by evidence of qualifications, trade history and previous projects.
- Understand formwork installation and general carpentry thoroughly, with a proven record of accurate, high-quality work.
- Be reliable and safety-conscious, maintain professional standards and work effectively both alone and with a team.
- Be willing to move between construction sites as required and open to regional work where applicable.
- Have your own tools and reliable transport.
- A current driver's licence is preferred.
