Accurate setting out and dependable workmanship are at the centre of this Perth Formwork Carpenter position. You will construct and strip formwork, carry out general carpentry and adapt your work to different projects and site conditions within an experienced construction crew.
The work involves interpreting plans, preparing materials and checking completed structures for quality. Some tasks require independent working, while others call for close coordination with colleagues. Travel between sites and regional work may be required, making adaptability an important part of the role.

Key Responsibilities
- Construct, assemble and dismantle formwork across different construction projects, alongside general carpentry and construction tasks as required.
- Interpret construction plans, drawings and specifications, then measure, mark, cut and fix materials accurately.
- Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently, inspecting finished work for quality and accuracy.
- Observe site safety procedures and keep the work area clean and orderly.
- Complete tasks independently or with the crew, travelling between project sites when needed and adapting to changing site conditions and project demands.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Have demonstrated experience as a Formwork Carpenter or All-Round Carpenter, backed by genuine, verifiable construction experience on active sites.
- A relevant carpentry qualification or recognised trade certification is preferred.
- Hold a White Card; a current driver’s licence is preferred.
- Have reliable transport and your own hand and power tools.
- Work independently with a strong work ethic and close attention to detail.
- Be willing to travel between construction sites and work in regional areas where required.
- Be able to meet applicable employment and sponsorship requirements.
