Keeping large HVAC installations safe, coordinated and on programme is the focus of this Perth HVAC Site Manager position. You will oversee site delivery for substantial design-and-construct (D&C) packages, linking the work of mechanical trades and subcontractors with project and engineering teams.
The portfolio spans healthcare, defence, government, education, aviation, hospitality, data centre and commercial developments. This role calls for experience gained in Australia, New Zealand or the UK. Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily HVAC installation delivery, coordinating mechanical trades, subcontractors, labour, materials and site resources.
- Monitor site progress against agreed construction programmes.
- Check installation quality, arrange correction of deficiencies and maintain safety and compliance standards.
- Interpret HVAC drawings, specifications and technical requirements to guide site work.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, engineering teams, builders, consultants and other project stakeholders.
- Resolve construction, installation and technical issues as they arise.
- Assist with managing variations and changes to the project.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Minimum 4 years of HVAC or mechanical construction experience gained in Australia, New Zealand or the UK.
- Bring experience delivering large commercial HVAC or mechanical services projects; Tier 1 construction experience is strongly preferred.
- Understand HVAC systems and installation methods thoroughly, and confidently read and apply technical drawings and specifications.
- Have a relevant trade qualification, engineering qualification or extensive industry experience.
- Demonstrate the ability to lead teams and subcontractors.
- Communicate excellently and manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
