Formwork, reinforcement and concreting are part of the civil construction work behind this full-time Formwork Carpenter listing in Adelaide. Major infrastructure projects in South Australia are seeking Formwork Carpenters, Concreters, Steel Fixers, Leading Hands and Trade Assistants with demonstrable trade capability.
You will work from drawings and site instructions, prepare materials and equipment, and coordinate with construction crews to complete tasks safely and on schedule. Reliable attendance and evidence of earlier project responsibilities matter across these positions. Sponsorship is available for eligible successful candidates.

Key Responsibilities
- Complete formwork carpentry to project specifications and support Form, Reo, Pour and related civil works.
- Carry out concreting, placement and finishing as required, and install and secure steel components and reinforcement.
- Read drawings and follow directions from supervisors and site management.
- Prepare work areas, materials and equipment, using hand tools, power tools and construction equipment safely.
- Maintain workmanship standards and complete allocated tasks within project timeframes.
- Follow site safety procedures and promptly report hazards you identify.
- Coordinate with other trades and construction crews, assisting with additional civil work as project needs require.
Requirements & Eligibility
- At least 3 years of relevant civil construction experience, with proven hands-on capability in the nominated construction trade.
- Be able to demonstrate previous employment and the responsibilities held.
- Hold a current White Card and relevant trade qualifications or tickets where applicable.
- Dogman, Working at Heights, Telehandler, CN, C6 or HR tickets are advantageous.
- Understand construction safety practices well, communicate clearly and follow site instructions.
- Work productively independently and within a team, with dependable attendance and responsibility for assigned work and project deadlines.
- Maintain strong attention to detail and quality workmanship, and be able to work on metropolitan, regional and interstate projects.
