From a salon appointment to a wedding or photo shoot, this full-time Hairdresser position in Sydney, New South Wales calls for styling that responds to the client’s brief. The work includes blow-dries, upstyles, braids and occasion looks, alongside events, campaigns and creative projects.
The rate is $40 per hour. You will coordinate with colleagues, maintain polished presentation and use professional products and tools appropriately while keeping your styling knowledge current. Sponsorship may be considered for eligible candidates who require it.

Key Responsibilities
- Create polished blow-dries, upstyles, braids and occasion hairstyles tailored to each client’s requirements.
- Prepare clients for weddings, events and professional photo shoots, maintaining a high standard of finishing.
- Welcome clients professionally and maintain polished personal grooming and conduct.
- Coordinate with teammates to deliver a cohesive client experience and contribute to a positive, collaborative salon environment.
- Participate in events, campaigns and creative industry projects.
- Keep abreast of hair trends and styling techniques, and use professional products and equipment correctly.
Requirements & Eligibility
- A hairstyling qualification or substantial professional experience, with proven capability across a range of styling techniques.
- Previous service experience in a professional salon or similar environment, with good communication and customer service skills.
- A creative mindset, enthusiasm for the beauty industry and the ability to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
- Professional appearance and a client-focused manner, backed by reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Commitment to continued learning and professional development.
