A thoughtful consultation sets the direction for this Hairdresser role at a boutique salon in Sydney, NSW. You will help clients choose suitable styles and treatments, then deliver consistent cutting, colouring and styling results. This full-time position combines technical skill with the personal service that encourages clients to return.
You will develop your own client following, contribute to salon targets and maintain your knowledge of techniques, products and trends. Working independently and contributing to the salon team are both part of the role. Eligible candidates may be considered for employer sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities
- Consult clients about their needs and recommend suitable styles and treatments before delivering personalised hairdressing services.
- Apply technical knowledge to produce consistent, well-finished cutting, colouring, styling and other salon services.
- Provide a professional experience throughout each appointment, building lasting client relationships and your individual following.
- Contribute towards salon targets while preserving service quality, recommending professional haircare products where appropriate.
- Keep knowledge of techniques, products and trends current, participating in training and professional development.
- Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming workspace, using your initiative while contributing to the salon team.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven professional experience as a Hairdresser or Stylist, supported by a relevant hairdressing qualification and/or substantial professional experience.
- Genuine industry experience that can be verified, with evidence of your previous professional work.
- Strong practical understanding of modern hairdressing techniques and confidence in consultation and styling.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated commitment to quality and client satisfaction.
- Capacity to work independently and collaboratively, with reliability, good organisation and professional presentation.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn and adapt as industry trends evolve.
