Diagnostic work sits alongside scheduled servicing and major mechanical repairs in this full-time Mechanic vacancy on the Gold Coast, QLD. A growing European vehicle specialist needs an experienced, motivated Automotive Technician / Motor Mechanic for its modern workshop, which uses professional diagnostic equipment.
The work covers engines, transmissions and electrical faults, with efficiency, safe practice and the quality of each repair carrying equal importance. The hourly rate is $35 - $45. For suitable candidates, employer sponsorship may be considered, subject to eligibility.

Key Responsibilities
- Investigate faults, service and repair European vehicles, including Skoda, Porsche, Volkswagen, Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz.
- Complete scheduled services alongside engine, transmission and other mechanical repairs.
- Apply professional diagnostic equipment to electrical and mechanical fault investigations.
- Deliver efficient, high-quality work under safe workshop practices, both independently and with the professional team.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Previous experience in automotive mechanical work and strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- European vehicle experience is highly regarded.
- Able to complete work efficiently without supervision.
- Hold a valid driver's licence; relevant automotive qualifications are preferred.
