Plumbing and heating installations are central to this full-time Plumber position in Queenstown, New Zealand. Working within a specialist team on premium residential and commercial projects, you will install, maintain and repair systems where accurate preparation and dependable workmanship matter.
The scope includes water services, sanitary fittings, hydronic heating and plumbing associated with HVAC installations. Reading plans, assembling pipework and testing completed systems are part of delivering reliable results alongside builders and other trades. Suitable overseas candidates may be considered for AEWV sponsorship based on eligibility requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain and repair plumbing across residential and commercial projects, including hot and cold water services, sanitary plumbing and fixtures.
- Fit and maintain pipework, valves, pumps and plumbing controls.
- Work on hydronic heating installations, including underfloor pipework and associated components, and assist with HVAC plumbing and technical heating projects.
- Install, replace and commission hot water cylinders and heat pump water heating systems.
- Interpret construction plans, drawings and specifications, then measure, prepare and assemble pipework using appropriate trade methods.
- Carry out pressure tests, system commissioning and performance checks; locate faults and complete effective repairs.
- Maintain workplace health and safety standards and professional site conditions.
- Coordinate with technicians, builders and other trades and keep tools, equipment and company resources in good working order.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Hold a recognised plumbing qualification and relevant industry experience, with New Zealand plumbing registration or eligibility to achieve registration.
- Have a minimum three years’ experience in plumbing installation, repairs and maintenance, including proven work on residential and commercial projects.
- Exposure to hydronic heating, underfloor heating or HVAC plumbing systems is advantageous.
- Be able to interpret technical drawings, plans and project requirements.

- Communicate effectively and work well within a professional team.
- Hold a valid driver licence or be willing to obtain one.
