This Practice Nurse vacancy is with a Dubbo family practice in New South Wales and is full time on weekdays. The practice seeks a Registered Nurse with real experience who will carry much of the clinic's clinical load, serving individuals and families and completing health assessments during home visits.
Sponsorship is available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Work with the practitioner so that medical services run smoothly
- Oversee treatment-room supplies, sterilisation and equipment servicing
- Explain health information to patients
- Observe infection control and WHS practice at all times
- Contribute to the practice meeting accreditation standards
- Mentor and direct other staff clinically
- Triage patients on presentation
- Treat wounds and apply dressings
- Administer childhood and adult immunisations as well as travel vaccinations
- Perform corporate health checks, ECG, audiometry and spirometry
- Manage chronic disease and complete age-appropriate and Indigenous health assessments
- Maintain the cold chain and educate staff
Requirements & Eligibility
- Current AHPRA registration with the CPD points required
- Current Basic Life Support / CPR certificate or equivalent
- Working With Children Check
- Multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills, with strong written and verbal communication
- Certified Immuniser looked upon favourably
