Coordinating the points where civil, marine and structural works meet is a key part of this full-time Project Engineer opportunity in Perth, WA. The position also accommodates Senior Project Engineer experience, supporting major infrastructure, recreational and community-focused developments across Western Australia.
You will own assigned construction activities, coordinate specialist trades and resolve practical site issues. Programming, cost control, quality documentation and progress reporting support that delivery responsibility. Work sponsorship is available for suitable candidates, including suitably qualified international professionals.

Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of assigned construction activities and outcomes, coordinating daily site work and tracking progress.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and specialist trades across civil, marine, structural and public realm interfaces.
- Oversee piling, fender systems and revetments, together with drainage, landscaping and related civil works.
- Assist with project programming, scheduling and cost control.
- Interpret construction requirements, resolve delivery issues and identify improvements in constructability, efficiency and outcomes.
- Maintain quality documentation, including ITPs, HIRACs and inspection records, and monitor safety, quality and environmental compliance.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders.
- Keep accurate project records and report construction progress.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to graduate and junior engineering staff.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or another recognised equivalent qualification.
- For Project Engineer level, have 2–4 years of civil or marine construction experience.
- For Senior Project Engineer positions, have relevant senior-level experience in construction and project delivery.
- Site-based engineering experience is preferred.
- Demonstrate previous coordination of subcontractors and construction teams, with an understanding of project scheduling, cost management and quality assurance.
- Bring strong stakeholder management and communication skills, supported by good organisation and documentation.
- Interpret construction requirements and resolve practical site problems while maintaining a strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
- Take a proactive approach, accept ownership of responsibilities and work effectively within multidisciplinary construction teams.
- Have a genuine interest in delivering major infrastructure and community-focused projects.
