Clinical care and shift leadership come together in this permanent, full-time Registered Nurse position in Coffs Harbour, NSW. A not-for-profit residential aged care provider needs an experienced nurse who can build trust with residents and families while guiding the personal care team.
Reporting to the Care Manager, you will work a mix of morning, afternoon and night shifts. Relationship-centred care informs the role, alongside clinical judgement, staff coaching and attention to residents' changing needs. Initial 482 sponsorship is available, with pathways to permanent residency for eligible applicants.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care consistent with best-practice nursing standards and use clinical judgement to respond to changing resident needs.
- Lead each shift, coaching, supervising and guiding the personal care team.
- Develop trusting relationships with residents and their families.
- Help maintain a positive, safe and inclusive environment for residents and colleagues.
- Observe clinical, safety and organisational policies and procedures.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Hold current AHPRA registration with a Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent, and have at least 2 years of nursing experience, ideally including aged care.
- Know aged care legislation and the Aged Care Quality Standards.
- Understand how AN-ACC assessment processes work.
- Bring strong clinical knowledge of ageing and age-related health conditions.
- Be confident coaching, mentoring and supporting care staff.
- Demonstrate strong communication, conflict-resolution and emotional-intelligence skills.
- Combine a positive, collaborative approach with competent IT skills.
