Person-centred nursing and sound clinical judgement guide this casual Registered Nurse role at a 72-bed aged care home in Newcastle, NSW. You will care for older residents, including people living with dementia, as part of a team working different shifts across different days.
The home belongs to a values-driven, not-for-profit organisation providing residential care, home care and retirement villages across New South Wales. Experienced leadership and corporate support teams support its clinical services. For the right candidate, visa sponsorship will be considered.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver clinical care centred on each resident, including residents living with dementia.
- Apply clinical problem-solving when responding to residents' care needs.
- Contribute to the team through shifts scheduled across different days and times.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Hold full unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and understand the Aged Care Quality Standards.
- Post-graduate applications are welcome.
- Have an affinity for residents with dementia, together with relevant experience or a willingness to gain it.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and clinical problem-solving skills as an excellent, highly motivated team player.
- Be available for various shifts across various days.
- Meet the organisation's immunisation policy, including a TGA-approved COVID-19 vaccine and annual influenza vaccination.
- Be willing to undertake a National Criminal History Check and complete a pre-employment medical assessment.
