This full-time Station Mechanic opening is listed in Broome, WA, for work across cattle stations in remote northern Western Australia. Two experienced mechanics are needed to maintain vehicles, trucks, motorbikes and station machinery.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, service and repair vehicles and machinery, attending faults and callouts as they arise.
- Use machinery and tools safely.
- Supervise station staff and train them to perform daily checks and services.
- Record parts consumed so replacements can be ordered.
- Keep frequently required parts in stock.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Hold a trade qualification in Diesel / Heavy Vehicle Mechanics with at least 2 years' experience.
- Have mechanic experience in a comparable position and a genuine enthusiasm for station life.
- Operate diagnostic and test equipment safely across the fleet, and use tools and equipment confidently, efficiently and safely.
- A C Class driver's licence is essential; a Motorcycle licence, HR or MC licence would be an advantage.
- Be able to work independently and with a team in a remote setting.
- Develop resourceful solutions when tools or parts are not readily available.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, good communication and a positive attitude would be an advantage.
- Be fit to work in high temperatures and high humidity.
