Attentive guest service needs to remain consistent even when a venue is busy. This Bar and Front of House Team Member position in Bathurst, NSW combines customer contact with practical service across the bar, dining room and function areas.
You will take orders, prepare beverages and respond to menu questions while coordinating with kitchen and service colleagues. Reliable attendance, professional communication and a positive contribution to the team matter throughout each shift. The role requires availability during evenings, weekends and peak trading periods. Eligible candidates may be considered for sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests professionally and provide attentive front-of-house service throughout their visit.
- Record food and beverage orders accurately and answer questions about the menu and service.
- Prepare and serve drinks in accordance with venue procedures.
- Maintain clean, organised and presentable service areas and help service run efficiently at busy times.
- Work across the bar, dining room and function spaces as required.
- Coordinate with kitchen, bar and front-of-house colleagues and comply with RSA, workplace safety and responsible service procedures.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Demonstrable hospitality or front-of-house experience is preferred.
- Hold a current RSA certificate.
- Show proven customer service and communication skills, with confidence and professionalism when dealing with guests.
- Maintain reliable attendance and a strong work ethic while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Bring a positive attitude and willingness to contribute to the team.
- Be available for evening shifts, weekends and peak trading periods.
- Be able to demonstrate genuine hospitality skills and relevant experience.
