Operationally, the duty manager handles stock, ordering, cash, opening and closing, and compliance with RSA, liquor licensing and workplace safety requirements. From a team perspective, the role leads and trains the bar and front-of-house staff, assists with rosters and performance, and keeps customer service at an excellent standard. A minimum of 3 years in a busy pub, tavern, bar or hospitality venue is expected.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily bar and venue operations
- Lead, supervise and train bar and front-of-house personnel
- Sustain excellent customer service standards
- Administer stock control, ordering and inventory
- Manage cash handling and opening and closing procedures
- Uphold compliance with RSA, liquor licensing and workplace safety requirements
- Support rostering, staff performance management, cost control and functions, events and promotions
Requirements & Eligibility
- Minimum 3 years of relevant hospitality experience at management or supervisory level
- Strong leadership and communication capabilities
- Prior experience in a busy pub or tavern environment
- Current RSA certificate
- WA Approved Manager accreditation, or willingness to obtain this accreditation
- Availability for evenings, weekends and public holidays, with a reliable, professional manner and the ability to work independently
