The appointee will oversee daily operations across every event type and lead the front-of-house team, from rostering and training to development. The role requires close working relationships with the General Manager, the events team and the kitchen, a high standard of service and venue presentation, and prompt handling of guest feedback. Revenue growth, cost control and compliance with WHS and RSA obligations are also part of the remit.
The venue is part of an established hospitality and events group with venues in Sydney and Canberra. The role involves nights and weekends. Sponsorship is available.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations spanning high tea, weddings, corporate functions and private events
- Lead the front-of-house team, with responsibility for rostering, training and staff development
- Maintain close working relationships with the General Manager, the events team and the kitchen to ensure each event is delivered smoothly
- Uphold service standards and the presentation of the venue
- Address guest feedback promptly and professionally
- Drive revenue, manage costs and ensure compliance with WHS and RSA obligations
Requirements & Eligibility
- Demonstrated experience in premium hospitality in a Restaurant, Venue or Events Manager capacity
- A warm and approachable disposition
- Ease in dealing with guests and team members
- Confident, hands-on leadership, with full accountability for operations
- Excellent command of spoken and written English
- Strong organisational ability
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Availability for night and weekend work, including every weekend, public holidays and peak event periods
