Reporting directly to the Venue Manager, you will lead the culinary teams and manage food production alongside labour and kitchen costs. Experience with volume kitchens and functions is an advantage. Sponsorship is available. The position also involves recruiting and training staff while maintaining the standards agreed with management.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop menus and oversee food production and quality standards.
- Cost food, manage labour and calculate labour costs to support kitchen performance.
- Meet agreed kitchen KPIs while maintaining executive management's standards.
- Assist kitchen recruitment and carry out staff induction and training.
- Communicate effectively with staff and management, maintaining kitchen hygiene, cleanliness and safety.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Minimum 2 years in a similar high-volume venue, with Cert III or Cert IV in Cookery.
- High professionalism and an energetic, enthusiastic approach.
- Strong operational kitchen knowledge, especially food presentation and quality, plus sound financial capability for controlling kitchen costs.
- Outstanding communication in writing and speech, with strong leadership and the ability to manage a multi-faceted kitchen.
- Hands-on leadership that coaches and motivates colleagues, with proven problem-solving capability.
- Ability to build a team environment and contribute to teamwork throughout the venue.
