Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve quality dishes using advanced culinary techniques, maintaining consistency and presentation standards.
- Coordinate preparation and service with chefs and hospitality colleagues to keep daily kitchen operations running smoothly.
- Apply sound food handling, preparation and kitchen procedures, checking quality throughout food production.
- Manage competing priorities during high-volume service and contribute to a positive, efficient kitchen team.
- Comply with workplace health, safety and food hygiene requirements.
- Continue building culinary knowledge and professional kitchen skills.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Be a qualified Chef with recognised culinary qualifications and relevant industry experience.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience is required in a quality restaurant, hotel or comparable professional kitchen, including previous work in a structured hospitality setting.
- Demonstrate genuine practical cooking capability and a good understanding of kitchen operations, food preparation and service standards.
- Be able to supply a verified employment background and professional references.
- Bring strong teamwork, communication and problem-solving skills, with commitment to high food quality and customer experience standards.
