Pans, wok, fryers, larder and grill all feature in this Chef de Partie / Commis Chef opening in Perth, WA. An award-winning modern Asian restaurant is seeking an experienced chef for its established team, producing dishes with bold, balanced flavours.
The restaurant serves more than 1,000 covers a week and opens for lunch and dinner seven days a week. Its kitchen also serves several venues within the same hospitality precinct, making independent working and consistent execution central to the role. You will follow recipes and senior direction while contributing across sections. Sponsorship may be considered for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain an exceptional, consistent food standard throughout service, following recipes and instructions from senior chefs and managers.
- Handle duties across pans, wok, fryers, larder and grill.
- Work independently at the pace required by a high-volume kitchen.
- Contribute to the shared kitchen's service for several venues in the hospitality precinct.
Requirements & Eligibility
- At least 3 years of chef experience in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen, with experience relevant to the position applied for.
- Asian cuisine experience is preferred but not essential.
- A commercial cookery certificate and the ability to work flexible hours across weekends and public holidays.
- Drive and willingness to develop into a leadership role.
