Consistent flavour and presentation need to hold up under pressure in this Sydney, NSW Chef de Partie role. You will contribute across kitchen sections in a high-volume operation, working with a skilled culinary team and an experienced Executive Chef. The open kitchen makes tidy preparation and professional presentation especially relevant.
The working pattern is 4-days-on, 3-days-off, with late-night availability required. Your practical kitchen experience should support accurate preparation, effective teamwork and organised service. Sponsorship is available for suitable candidates whose skills and experience meet the role requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook to established standards across several kitchen sections, maintaining consistent flavour, food quality and presentation in an open kitchen.
- Support preparation and service during busy trading periods while keeping routines accurate.
- Coordinate with chefs and colleagues through clear communication and efficient handling of competing tasks.
- Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace procedures, keeping workstations and preparation areas clean and organised.
- Help maintain a respectful and professional kitchen environment.
Requirements & Eligibility
- 2–3 years of professional kitchen experience gained in restaurants, pubs or hotels, with genuine hands-on work across multiple sections.
- Ability to demonstrate relevant work experience and practical culinary skills, supported by a strong understanding of professional kitchen operations.
- Ability to sustain standards during busy service and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
- Good communication and teamwork, with reliability, punctuality and close attention to detail.
- Professional presentation and high standards of personal hygiene.
- Availability for late-night shifts.
- A positive approach to learning and a commitment to quality and continuing professional development.
