Large wedding services and European menus shape this full-time Chef de Partie role in Wollongong, NSW, Australia. The catering team needs an immediate starter who can organise a section and maintain plating quality through busy, fast-moving events. The venue forms part of a group operating five wedding venues.
Working with the Head Chef, you will contribute to menus, tastings and seasonal adjustments while supervising junior kitchen colleagues. Catering duties also extend to the group's other venues. The business seeks someone interested in staying and growing towards a Sous Chef role. Visa sponsorship under Subclass 482 Skills in Demand is available for eligible candidates.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage your section's preparation and service for weddings and events, maintaining food safety throughout.
- Contribute to menu development, tastings and seasonal revisions alongside the Head Chef.
- Oversee ordering and stock control, and train and lead junior chefs and kitchen hands.
- Provide catering services at the group's other venues.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Bring 3 years' culinary experience, with time working as a CDP or strong Demi, and experience maintaining plating quality for large numbers.
- Hold food safety certification or be able to obtain it within 30 days of starting.
- Drivers License required for this role.
