Meals that meet individual dietary needs are the priority for this Chef Manager position at an aged care site near Goulburn, NSW. The permanent full-time schedule runs Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, with responsibility for organising the kitchen's daily work.
The Australian-owned contract caterer has 25 years of experience across aged care, education, retail and remote services. You will combine fresh meal preparation and bulk production with texture-modified cooking, attentive service and high standards of hygiene. Independent organisation and sensible prioritisation are central to the work. Sponsorship may be available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Organise daily kitchen operations independently, deciding priorities and managing preparation and production in bulk.
- Cook fresh, nutritious food in a busy kitchen, including texture-modified meals meeting residents' dietary requirements and established standards.
- Provide residents and clients with friendly, professional customer service and attentive dining support.
- Maintain high food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards throughout the kitchen.
- Help create a positive dining experience through meal quality and responsive service.
Requirements & Eligibility
- A recognised trade qualification in commercial cookery and a current Food Safety Supervisor qualification.
- Experience in preparing food, bulk cooking and kitchen operations, with knowledge of texture-modified diets and meeting individual dietary requirements.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, plus the ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and maintain high standards.
- A current National Criminal History Check and ability to meet the site's flu vaccination requirements.
