Lunch service, dinner orders and function catering all feature in this Chef opening at a Shepparton, VIC pub. The kitchen serves classic pub food and freshly made dishes, with experienced chefs joining on a casual basis for the busy summer period.
You will work hands-on with the kitchen team to keep food consistent across the bistro and events. There is potential for the right person to move into permanent full-time employment. Sponsorship may be considered after 6 months of employment, depending on eligibility, performance, business requirements and approval.

Key Responsibilities
- Contribute hands-on to the kitchen team during busy lunch and dinner services across the pub, bistro and functions.
- Deliver food of consistent quality for bistro diners and function guests.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Bring previous experience of commercial kitchen work; trade qualifications are preferred.
- Have good knowledge of kitchen standards and food safety.
- Be able to work a flexible roster that includes weekends.
- Be reliable and positive, cooperate well with colleagues and feel comfortable during busy service.
