A growing golf club kitchen needs a qualified Chef to contribute to preparation, service and the supervision of less experienced colleagues. Listed in Shepparton, VIC, this full-time opening is in a north-east Victorian tourist town attracting thousands of visitors each year for outdoor activities. You will report to the Head Chef and work with the sous chef and kitchenhands.
The annual salary is $75,000 - $80,000, and an immediate start is available. Applicants must be already in Australia with valid work rights. Sponsorship may be available to exceptional applicants after a successful trial period.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu dishes, checking quality throughout preparation and presentation.
- Train and supervise new or less experienced staff, assigning tasks across the team.
- Oversee cooks and provide practical assistance when needed.
- Keep kitchen work compliant with hygiene regulations.
- Check food stock levels and order supplies.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Bring commercial cookery experience and qualifications at Cert 3 or higher, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a commercial kitchen.
- Offer flexible availability for weekdays and weekends within a 7-day operation.
- Communicate well and work capably both unsupervised and within a team.
- Understand OH&S and food hygiene requirements.
- Hold valid work rights in Australia.
