Breakfast and lunch are the focus of this full-time Chef opening at an independently owned Sunshine Coast, QLD café. The menu combines creative dishes, quality ingredients and preparations made in-house, with a busy kitchen serving a high volume of guests.
The position can accommodate different experience levels: an experienced Chef, a Senior Cook ready to step up, or a Sous Chef or Head Chef. Duties will reflect the selected person's skills and leadership potential. Shifts are mainly during the day. Potential employer sponsorship is offered for suitable candidates, subject to position and visa eligibility requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Produce breakfast and lunch dishes with consistent freshness, presentation and food quality.
- Organise preparation to support efficient daily kitchen operations.
- Maintain food safety and cleanliness while supporting stock management.
- Coordinate with colleagues during busy services.
- Offer ideas for menu development and improvements to kitchen operations.
- Undertake leadership, staff training and kitchen management where appropriate to the role.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven professional commercial kitchen experience and confidence handling busy services under pressure.
- Pride in producing food with consistent quality and presentation.
- An organised, efficient approach and the ability to work well in a team.
- A strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Comfort with early starts and weekend work.
- Previous leadership experience is highly regarded.
