This casual Chef position on the Sunshine Coast, QLD brings together club dining, functions and events. A large, modern community venue needs kitchen staff to maintain standards throughout its food and beverage outlets, sports bar and function centre. Expected hours for the right candidate are 35-40 per week.
You will help the head chef keep service running efficiently, giving food quality and safe kitchen practices consistent attention. Australian work rights are required when you apply. The employer will consider sponsorship for the right applicant after an agreeable trial period as a casual.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the head chef in delivering an efficient kitchen service and maintaining the highest food quality, consistency and standards across all outlets.
- Meet the requirements of the Food Safety Act and the venue's food safety system.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Bring a minimum of three years' experience in a commercial kitchen; bistro cuisine experience is desirable.
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to contribute to a team.
- Be honest and reliable, with a positive approach to service excellence.
- Handle multiple tasks and pressure effectively; time management is essential and Australian work authorisation is required at the time of application.
- Maintain a neat, tidy and well-presented appearance at all times.
