Vietnamese and Asian cooking experience is central to these 3 full-time Cook / Chef openings with a growing restaurant group in regional New South Wales, listed in Port Macquarie. An immediate start is available for experienced, motivated and hardworking cooks.
Applicants must be already located in Australia and willing to work at their allocated restaurant; initial training in Port Macquarie may be required. Temporary Graduate Visa (Subclass 485) holders are welcome to apply. Skills in Demand Visa (Subclass 482) sponsorship may be considered for suitable and eligible long-term Cook/Chef candidates, subject to business needs, individual eligibility, satisfactory work performance and applicable immigration requirements; it is neither automatic nor assured.

Key Responsibilities
- Produce Vietnamese and Asian-style dishes that meet restaurant standards for quality, presentation and portion control.
- Organise food preparation and rotate stock while maintaining kitchen cleanliness.
- Apply food safety and hygiene procedures throughout kitchen work.
- Keep lunch and dinner services efficient, coordinating with kitchen colleagues and front of house staff for smooth operations.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Hold Commercial Cookery qualifications or bring relevant professional kitchen experience.
- Previous Asian cuisine kitchen experience is highly preferred, particularly in Vietnamese, Thai, Chinese or other Asian restaurants.
- Experience making noodle soups, stir-fries, rice dishes and other Asian meals is an advantage.
- Be able to work independently through busy service periods, with reliability, punctuality and commitment to high standards.
- Must be currently located in Australia and have flexible availability, including weekends.
- The restaurant group is an approved business sponsor.
