Rental advice and vehicle preparation come together in this Customer Service / Groomer role in Queenstown. The small branch team serves business, commercial and recreational travellers, from local short-term hires to larger long-term contracts. You will answer enquiries, prepare quotes and contracts, and keep vehicles groomed, maintained and ready for hire, helping wherever branch operations require.
This permanent full-time position is rostered for 40 hours per week. Branch opening hours are 8.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday and until 1.00pm on Saturdays. The employer would ideally appoint suitable and available NZ workers; as an Accredited Employer with Immigration NZ, it can consider sponsoring candidates requiring a work visa if such an appointment cannot be made.

Key Responsibilities
- Respond to telephone enquiries with sales advice and quotations, then prepare contracts and complete transactions.
- Arrange vehicle movements and carry out deliveries and collections.
- Maintain customer accounts and handle office administration.
- Keep rental vehicles groomed to the highest standards and complete all necessary compliance checks.
- Identify repair or maintenance concerns, escalate them appropriately, and manage maintenance and damages as required.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Hold a Full Class 1 Driver Licence, or overseas equivalent, and have basic to intermediate computer skills.
- Bring previous customer-facing service experience, ideally in vehicle rental, but that industry background is not essential.
- Previous experience grooming vehicles is preferred but not essential.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills, together with confidence on the phone.
- Show great attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
