Children's progress will shape your planning in these kindergarten programmes approved by the government in Cairns, Queensland. An early learning provider is recruiting 5 Early Childhood Teachers for full-time positions, combining classroom teaching with observation, documentation and close communication with families.
You will create an inclusive learning environment, review educational experiences and exchange ideas with educators across the wider group. The work suits teachers committed to children's development and a long-term early childhood career. Eligible overseas candidates can receive visa sponsorship, and overseas-qualified teachers are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver developmentally appropriate kindergarten learning and support each child's individual progress and wellbeing.
- Create a secure, stimulating and inclusive environment, building respectful relationships with children.
- Plan educational experiences, document their delivery and evaluate learning outcomes.
- Observe children's development and maintain electronic programmes, observations and learning portfolios.
- Develop professional partnerships with parents and families, communicating progress and learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with educators and share knowledge with Early Childhood Teachers throughout the group.
- Apply relevant National Quality Standards and National Regulations while maintaining health, safety and wellbeing practices.
- Improve the kindergarten programme, participate in ongoing training and professional development, and contribute to a respectful, cooperative workplace.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Hold an ACECQA-approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification; OR hold an approved Diploma-level Early Childhood Education and Care qualification while actively studying towards an ACECQA-approved ECT qualification; OR actively study towards an approved ECT qualification with at least 50% completed.
- Supply academic transcripts if applying through the 50% completed qualification pathway.
- Satisfy applicable ACECQA assessment requirements, relevant English language requirements and eligibility for the applicable Australian visa pathway.
- Be eligible to obtain and maintain a Queensland Working with Children Blue Card.
- Have current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training, or be willing to obtain these qualifications as required.
- Communicate strongly in writing and speech.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm and energy for early childhood education, supported by a strong professional work ethic.
- Be dependable, flexible and willing to contribute to the team.
- Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues, with an understanding of children's learning and development.
- Show commitment to a long-term career in early childhood education.
