Wedding and function catering calls for a different approach from daily restaurant service. This full-time Events Chef role in Bunbury, WA gives an experienced events specialist responsibility for planning and delivering the food offering at a winery and restaurant. Its occasions range from relaxed lunches to weddings for 150 guests.
You will shape the events programme and lead the kitchen team through large-group service. Between bookings, you will run a section and assist the Head Chef with everyday preparation and service. Visa sponsorship may be available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the weddings and events food programme, planning and delivering food service across the business.
- Lead the kitchen team in producing quality food for large groups.
- Run a section between events and contribute to routine preparation or service.
- Work with the Head Chef and kitchen colleagues on daily operations.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Demonstrate proven delivery experience in weddings, functions, banquets or catered events, and understand how event service differs from restaurant service.
- Be organised and proactive, able to anticipate what is needed several steps ahead.
- Enjoy leading people and building a cohesive team.
- Stay practical and calm under pressure, concentrating on solutions.
